Rules

Make a Java game for Pokitto Hardware and/or Pokitto Emulator

Open to anyone, you can participate by submitting on itch.io game jam page or talk.pokitto.com forums

Submissions are open till HALLOWEEN 2019, 31st. October 2019

PRIZES (for 3 winners + 3 runner-ups)!

A) Pokitto game console

or

B) SUPER NERD Pokitto Development kit, meaning NXP Development kit + display, build the hardware from scratch (Pros only!)

Theme

Java of the Dead is intended to be a celebration of Java and the possibility of a new chance, even if it means being an undead Zombie!

You may interpret that in any fun way you wish, mixing Zombies, the undead, vampires and voodoo, Java and coffee – in any order and concentration you desire!

Tools

The game is to be written in Java for Pokitto, submissions will be judged on Pokitto hardware and on Pokitto emulator.

Java programming Pokitto is made possible by FemtoIDE by Felipe Manga, which you can download and install free of charge.

FemtoIDE also incorporates a Pokitto Emulator, meaning you can program and participate in the compo – even if you do not yet have a Pokitto!
